well ysty was the day i've been anxious abt as it is my 1st observation flight or sny v called it.the flight MH 740 is to depart KLIA (KUL) at 11:05am n reach Yangon (RGN)by 12:15pm (local time in yangon),here is 1:45pm.time diff is 1hr 30min
my reporting time 2 Flight Management Building (FMB) in KLIA was 9:50am (1hr 15min b4 departure time).the mas van was at tasik selatan lrt station exactly 9:20am to pick me up.was kinda suprised that i m the 1st one to b in the van,n the driver told me he is goin to pick another 2 fellas up in bkt jalil.suspecting it might b some captains or seniors,so i better b in my best behaviour.here v reached the bkt jalil condo,n two mas stewardess were waiting 4 the van.wau,wau n wau.they extended their hands 2 say hello n intro themselves to me.really MH lo.well mh stands 4 Malaysian Hospitality.hehe.not bad looking both of them.to them i m oni a 1 bar guy (just a cadet) n a freshie in the airline still undergoin training.anyhow,mutual respect in the airline shud b practice

at the Operation Despatch Center (ODC) in the FMB is where all the captains,the 1st officers,2nd officers on duty gather to get their flight plan,meteorology report,n other important documents la 4 the their respective flights.i was there to fly with my senior Erwin n Captain Achdiat which is a super cool guy.he looks like Jeremy Piven from Entourage.let me show u roughly how the captain looks like

here v go,on to the international departure hall.wau,my 1st time walking inside it.so freaking huge hall,it can house a few seminars or run as a convention center.oso my 1st time wearing the mas cap walking side by side with my senior n the captain.feels good n pressure oso cos hv 2 study n train well to bcome like them or mayb better la.hehe
super super long time din fly d.so 4got how it feels like to b onboard an airplane.just in case u dunno,the aircraft is a B737-400 narrow body.
bhind the captain n my senior(2nd officer) was where i sat 4 the whole flight monitoring wat they do n try to pick some tricks n trades along the way.the actual cockpit n the simulator is a huge difference.the actual is kinda cramp n small space while the simulator is much more comfy n spacious.nvm la.hv 2 get used 2 it

the cabin crews staff are very warm 2 us.greeting us before the flight.quite often ask us wat i wanna drink which i kinda say no thanks initially.hehe.later stage hv 2 drink oso,there4 ask 4 an orange juice.the 1st meal 4 us was western style omellette n a nasi lemak.captain n me chose omellette.when i think bck,i shud not hv choosen the same as the captain as it relects a little disregard 4 his status.pai seh in my mind.my senior chose the nasi lemak.v all ate like 60% oni,no selera eat on board at 30000ft
the 1st sector was done by the captain.he is ever so calm in his flying n establish good communication wit his co-pilot.every now n then when there is light workload esp during cruise i pun sibuk sibuk ask my seniors some q abt the flight.at least get to know some stuff n not just come 4 a joyride.the commander(capt) was helpful in trying 2 enhance some of the explanation my senior said 2 me n oso share some info abt flying itself.no pressure doin my 1st sny with them.i m just a wingless bird cos i m not flying yet.during the landing in yangon,he demonstrate quite good technique in landing,quite smooth n on the centerline.that's our motto in flying to provide u guys out there with 5star value n service.v arrived on time at yangon.not bad huh flying wit mas

since the aircraft was now at the parking bay,i decided to go jalan jalan a bit since i m oledi here n nvr wud i imagine i wud sumday come here.hehe.so told my senior n the capt wish 2 go walk a bit ard 10min in the airport.a good airport officer guided me 2 walk ard the airport which i oni hv limited time since v r goin 2 depart again bck 2 KUL in less than 45mins.mana tahu,"nature is calling me pula".there4 hv 2 go the loo to "lepas".wasted my precious few minutes to go look ard.this officer even waited 4 me to finish my biz n escort me bck 2 the aircraft.really appreciate this fella help.all i can see is that the airport is kinda quiet compare to ours.since no time,hardly go to buy any souvenirs bck 2 my family,lyn,sling n others.at least i save some cash.looking at the bright side.hehe

from top,u can see yangon is just a simple city wit not much big building.just those simple houses n factory ard.nothing much but it is very serene n nice 2 live in.ppl here in the airport are quite nice.the myanmar gurls look sincere n polite.will greet u n smile.certainly i wud come bck this place when i start flying
time to depart bck 2 KUL.this return sector my senior take over from the captain.from bhind just see wat he does n try 2 learn from it.see how he do the checklist,the scan flow,the radio calls,n others la.it was a good learning experience just backseating the flight.v landed on time again at 5:25pm,but oni a little bumpy during the landing but overall a good flight
